Riding astride our Bullet Endfields we hit the road from Kathmandu to Namo Buddha, via Lakuri Bhanjyang. Zooming past beautiful Newari farmsteads and wooded slopes we reach the Buddhist stupa of Namobuddha, located atop Panauti. Our next stop is Jiri. Lying at an altitude of 1,905 metres, this small town used to be the trailhead for treks leading to Mount Everest region. After spending a restful day in Jiri, we hit the road to The Last resort in Kodari, on the Nepal-Tibet highway. The Last Resort is located on top of a green river gorge and is connected to the main road by a metal suspension bridge 166 meters long and 160 meters high. Bungeeing from here is the ultimate rush as this is one of the longest free-falls in the world. Speeding along the hair pin bends and deep gorges we reach Dhulikhel, a Newari village and a hill resort. The exciting down hill ride from Dhulikhel to Kathmandu serves as a finale to a wonderful trip.
