Kathmandu – Bandipur Bike Tour (2 Nights 3 Days)

Bandipur is one perfect hill top region of Nepal located in Gandaki Zone, Tanahun district. Located at an elevation of 1030m, on a mountain saddle is above 700m above Marshyangdi River Valley, 143 km west of Kathmandu. It has wonderufl place, and is funnelling point by Newar Traders from Bhaktapur. Although it was Magar village previously, there are mixed range of people residing hereby. It has typical Nepali touch, and any visitor residing here overnight will get to experience what Nepal actually is from Bandipur itself. Siddha Cave is next attraction of this region, which is known as South Asia’s longest cave.

A DETAILED ITINERARY THAT GEARS YOU UP FOR THE TOUR:

DAY 01: Kathmandu-Bandipur
DAY 02: Rest day Bandi pur.
DAY 02: Bandipur –Kathmandu

DAY 01: Kathmandu-Bandipur
Gathering at some places, the riders shall first have their breakfast and then get set for the drive. Beginning from Kalanki the riders shall begin up their ride and come across the hectic busy K-Town. After reaching Thankot Check Post, the riders will experience steep down ride till they make it to Naubise. After short refreshment and rest, the riders shall further gear up and drive with the flow of river alongside. Once the riders reach Malekhu, they shall have Malekhu’s famous fish as snacks and take short rest. Gradually, after beginning the ride, overcoming the busiest highway, the riders shall make it to Kuringtar, where they can observe Cable Car movement from highway itself and then finally to Kuringtar. After crossing the bridge, there are wonderful places to be in the meantime, as the busy route will not get scattered with only few vehicles and once they reach near Dumre, the riders will experience hill top ride with the least gear. Having lunch here itself, finally, the riders shall make it to Bandipur. Dinner and overnight at Bandipur.

DAY 02: Rest day Bandipur.
This is entirely a rest day, where the riders will be spending time observing the spaces of Bandipur. Annapurna range will be perfectly seen here. Having traditional breakfast, the riders shall then experience short village sightseeing. There is temple at walk of half an hour, and other places to be before breakfast. Having breakfast, the riders should then move ahead to Siddha Cave; 3 hour walk from Bandipur. That would be something adventure filled task to be inside the cave. Once outside, the riders will have two choice, either hike the same route they came through; or get down to highway and choose vehicle to reach up. Having lunch, the riders shall then get back to Bandipur and make their evening a real fun filled. Dinner and overnight at Bandipur.

DAY 02: Bandipur –Kathmandu
On this final day, having breakfast the riders shall get set for next long drive up to Kathmandu. After the steep down route, the riders shall meet Pokhara – Kathmandu Highway, and continue their journey back. Crossing Abu Khairaini, the riders shall make it to Muglin at first. There is Dam, where riders can spend some time for refreshment. Gradually, after Muglin, the riders shall further continue their ride, cross Kuringtar and reach Malekhu; where the ridres shall have their lunch. The riders will get to see some rafting scenes there as well. Continuing the ride, the riders shall reach Naubise, and ride steep uphill till they make it to Thankot Check Post. Once there, they will get down to Kathmandu’s crowd and end the trip with final farewell.
